Reliable Cold Chain Transport for Kazakhstan’s Harsh Climate & Vast Territory
Feb 27,2026

What Are the Real Demands for Cold Chain in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan's vast territory and extreme winter temperatures pose a severe challenge to cold chain transportation. We accept WEATHER SPARK data and Customer Communication knows winter temperatures average -30 degrees Celsius and can drop below -40 degrees Celsius. A leading local retailer operates over 500 delivery vehicles year-round in cities such as Almaty, Astana, and Tsimkent, handling intercity and intracity deliveries of food, vegetables, eggs, fruits, meat, milk, and other essential goods.

What Are the Key Pain Points of Traditional Cold Chain Transport?

Customer Pain Points:

1.The conventional cold chain transportation solution previously used by the customer was prone to freezing damage to goods due to insufficient heating in winter, resulting in losses and waste.

2.The client owns their own warehouses, logistics facilities, and supermarkets, with vehicles constantly shuttling between these locations. During loading at the warehouse, rest stops en route, and unloading at the destination, the vehicles often need to idle to ensure a continuous supply of cooling to the goods and prevent them from overheating. However, this leads to increased fuel consumption, environmental pollution from engine exhaust, and the impact of engine noise on the driver and surrounding personnel during parking.

What Supersnow Teams Do For Customer?

Supersnow Solutions:

The 30 Supersnow KX-380KE truck refrigeration units installed this time have been optimized for the specific conditions in Kazakhstan.

1. An electric heating function has been added, significantly increasing the heating capacity and ensuring that goods are not damaged by freezing even in extreme low temperatures.

2. An innovative ultra-quiet electric standby function has been adopted. This electric stand by system uses an integrated platform design, combining the backup power system with the condenser. Compared to the traditional electric motor-driven compressor solution, this solution is quieter, easier to install, and safer.

Supersnow's improved solution significantly reduces food spoilage due to temperature, while also reducing fuel consumption, decreasing pollutant emissions into the atmosphere, and contributing to a more peaceful world.
